Greetings Golfers!
During the past fall and winter months we have been working hard to make some small and some not so small improvements to the golf course.
In the fall we seeded several bare and weak areas and sodded several other areas in the roughs and fairways which are coming along nicely. We have made several irrigation repairs and improvements which will hopefully help all of us through the heat of the summer months. In addition, we added approximately 1,500 feet of drainage in several of our areas that tended to stay wetter than necessary. We hope to seed and sod several more areas prior to the coming season. We have also started converting some of the sand bunkers to grass bunkers to improve maintenace and play.
With spring just around the corner we are looking forward to the grass to start gorwing again and the wildflowers at the tee areas. Come on out and join us at beautiful Lake Powell National Golf Course!
